Wow! I have never heard that. Thanks for the info. Do you know what kind of bacteria would be in the curry powder and why? I'll do a little research too to see if I can find all of us some more info on this.

Hello All....

I am from Jamaica and I just wanted to warn you all to cook the curry thoroughly. Curry can carry a lot of bacteria, even when bottled. One method is to start with a tablespoon of oil or butter in the pan, heat the oil and then add the curry powder to the oil as opposed to the chicken. "Burn" the curry... meaning bring it to a sizzle. Then add the meat and toss until all is coated well.
