This Week's Howdy

What a weekend! Started out with Enzo's baseball game Friday night where he scored a triple on a dribbler, smacked one to the outfield and caught the game ending out for the win. Saturday was a fantastic evening of kickin' up our heels at the Historic Lewes Farmer's Market fundraiser Hoedown. It's always a great time with friends, food and excellent music from Big Hat No Cattle that get's those boots scootin'.  A big thank you to the folks with the winning bid on the dinner for 20 at the Millman Homestead that I'll be cooking. It's going to be a fabulous event, guaranteed!  Sunday both Zeke and Enzo ran in the Quest Fitness/Seashore Striders Mudrun. Muddy, messy and SO much fun! The picture above is Enzo (red shirt in front) and his team trudging through the biggest mud puddle ever! I ran it last year but was the picture taker this year. I'm all in for 2013...who's with me?!  The weekend literally ended with a BANG when our car collided with a deer that ran out of the woods Sunday evening. We're fine, but unfortunately the deer is not and neither is the car which is not even drivable. I have to say, after the initial shock all I could think about was the deer scene in Tommy Boy!

 New This Week we have:  One of our go to's in the kitchen and the natural medicine cabinet, Bragg's Organic Raw and Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar,  as well as Organic Chia seeds by the pound, Local PA Organic Rhubarb and Local VA  asparagus.
