With a name like donut, it has to be good! And they seriously are. We look forward to these every year, not only for their adorable appearance but also for the creamy, candy-like sweetness of their insides.
They’re the perfect shape for snacking (bite right around the pit!) and can be used in any recipe calling for peaches, though they lack the tartness of the yellow-fleshed variety.
A natural mutation of red raspberries, gold raspberries have a little extra something thanks to their gorgeous honey and apricot hues. They’re also sweeter and less acidic than their red cousins, making them perfect for dessert applications.
And as a great source of fiber, vitamins B and C, folic acids, iron and antioxidants, they will do your body good.
We know you love them! With rich, pristine flavor and dazzling depth of character, heirlooms are a summer gem we can’t wait to indulge in. An heirloom variety is typically defined as one that has been around more than 50 years.
They’re best in dishes that let the true tomato flavor shine through - in a simple preparation like a classic Caprese salad, gazpacho, salsa or roasted in a summer vegetables risotto.
Defined by its unique torpedo shape, this summery staple has a fresh taste somewhere between eggplant and asparagus. Okra can be blanched, boiled, steamed, deep-fried or sautéed, and it’s delicious medleyed with tomatoes corn and peppers. Once cooked, the red color disappears to green.
It’s a good source of vitamins C and A, magnesium, potassium and calcium - and its healthy dose of folate means is great for pregnant women!
These baby stone fruits are already rolling in and we couldn’t be happier about it! Their bright, sweet-tart flavor is super versatile and complements both sweet and savory and raw and cooked preparations. We especially love them paired with salty, creamy cheeses such as burrata, feta and mascarpone - or dark chocolate!

We heart all summer squash … but the gold bar variety, with its saturated yellow skin and green cap, is extra bright and festive! Compared to green varieties, yellow squash is also higher in carotenoids - the phytonutrient responsible for giving veggies their bright red, orange and yellow color - and therefore packs some serious antioxidative power.
They’re subtly sweet and nutty, and can be used in any recipe calling for any type of summer squash. And there’s no need to peel ‘em - the tender skin cooks nicely and contains most of the nutrients!
