Maiale is a small neighborhood salumi shop and delicatessen that believe that the best tasting food is made from fresh and local ingredients. They make more than 30 varieties of fresh sausage and over 10 different types of salami, and everything from the salumi to the pasta is made in house and from scratch.
Chef/Owner Billy Rawstrom, a Delaware native and professional chef, enjoys cooking Italian, French, and American cuisines. He believes that the difference between Maiale and the rest are the unique combinations and flavors of sausage and salami. The sausages are made daily with no additives or preservatives.
