A hearty, satisfying main dish built for weeknight ease. Big flavor, minimal effort, and all-around comfort food you can feel good about!

In the kit:

2 lbs pork shoulder

6 tomatoes

1 large onion

4 garlic cloves

1 bunch lacinato kale

4oz cremini mushrooms

1 bunch carrots

3 celery stalks

1 can crushed tomatoes

Spice blend for pork: 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper

Spice blend for base: 1/4 tsp crushed red peppers, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, ½ tsp dried thyme, 1/4 tsp dried basil, and 1/2 tsp dried parsley

1 pkg uncooked polenta or 2 pkgs of cooked polenta

From your kitchen:

2 cups vegetable stock

3 Tbsp oil, divided

1 cup water
